Sea Lion Twirling Above a Busy Coral Reef

A smiling sea lion twists through the water with one long flipper raised high, the star of this detailed underwater scene. It has big round eyes, a small nose, curved whiskers and a happy expression. Many small fish swim around it, along with several larger striped angelfish with tall fins, and little bubbles drift up between them. The seabed at the bottom is packed with branching coral, rounded rocks, sea plants and tube-shaped sponges. The big smooth body is easy to color, while the busy reef and fish give older kids lots of fine detail. A warm gray-brown suits the sea lion, and yellow, orange and blue stripes on the angelfish stand out against a soft blue-green background. This free printable fits a quiet afternoon at home or a classroom ocean unit. If you enjoyed this Seals & Sea Lions page, don't miss our Dinosaurs and Goat coloring pages.
