Playful Young Lion Cub Winking and Pouncing

A young lion cub strides across the page with its head turned back over its shoulder, one eye squeezed shut in a wink and its mouth open in a happy grin. The cub has round ears with thick dark inner edges, a small tuft of hair on top of its head, whiskers, and a little fluff at the chest. One front paw is raised mid-step while the other legs are planted, and a long curling tail ends in a pointed tuft. This looks like the young Simba from The Lion King. The outlines are clean and bold, so it works well for younger kids with crayons or markers. Try golden tan for the fur, a warm brown for the tail tuft and ear edges, and leave the paw pads a lighter shade for contrast. A free printable like this also makes a nice calm-down activity.
