Young Polar Bear Afloat on a Flat Chunk of Ice

Coloring guide
A young polar bear stands on a flat piece of ice that floats in wavy water. The bear looks straight out of the page with round eyes, a dark nose, and small ears with a few fur lines inside. Its body is big and rounded, and all four paws rest on the ice. Little motion lines under three of the paws make it look like the bear just stepped down. The ice has thick, layered edges, and a few curvy lines in the bottom left show the water. The large white areas give plenty of room for blending, so try pale blue and lavender pencils to shade the fur, then use a darker blue for the water. This free printable also works well for a short lesson on where polar bears live and why sea ice matters to them.
