Officer Dog Man Out for a City Walk
Coloring guide
Grinning wide, a cartoon dog in a police uniform strides down a city sidewalk, and his tail swishes behind him with little motion lines. He has a police cap with a badge, a collared shirt with a shield badge on the chest, a belt, long pants and chunky boots. His floppy ear, round eyes, freckled snout and dark nose are all drawn in clean, bold lines. Tall buildings with square windows rise behind him, along with a puffy cloud, a sun with rays, a leafy tree and rounded bushes. Thick lines and roomy shapes suit preschoolers and early elementary kids. Try a deep blue uniform with bright yellow badges, then finish with a sunny sky. It's a free printable for a quick coloring break any time. Browse more Dog Man coloring pages, or explore Naruto and Transformers for even more fun.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the dog's head, ears and paws with caramel brown, leaving the eye whites and the cream muzzle area as you go.
- 2Fill the uniform, cap and both legs with royal blue, then add navy blue to the cap, sleeve cuffs, belt and shoes for contrast.
- 3Color the trees and bushes grass green and the sky-facing sun and badges golden yellow, keeping the tree trunk white.
- 4Use peach for the building on the left and orange for its top edge, then fill the windows with sky blue and the cloud with light blue.
- 5Finish the street and sidewalk in pale gray and the shoe soles in light gray, keeping the eye whites and the background white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker brown to the dog's ears and light gray shading on the shoe soles for depth.
