Snowy Castle Princess Ice Skating
Coloring guide
A smiling young princess skates across the ice with one leg lifted behind her and both arms out for balance. She wears a small crown and a puffy-sleeved gown with a snowflake design on the bodice and a flowing skirt, plus lace-up skates with little bows. Her long wavy hair streams behind her as she spins, and curved skate tracks are drawn around her on the ice. A tall castle with pointed towers and flags stands in the background beside snowy hills and pine trees, with snowflakes and sparkly stars in the sky. Kids who love princesses and winter scenes will enjoy this one, and the big gown and castle leave lots of room for crayons or markers. Icy blues and silvery purples would suit the dress and castle, with a warm golden crown on top. Grab this free printable for a quick coloring break anytime. - 1Start with the skin: color the face, neck, arms, and legs with peach skin, leaving the eye whites unpainted.
- 2Color the long flowing hair and the tiara with golden yellow.
- 3Fill the bodice with hot pink, the skirt with soft pink, and the puffy sleeves and hem edges with light pink.
- 4Color the castle walls with pale lavender, the lower walls and tower bands with lavender purple, the roofs with royal blue, and the door with brown.
- 5Paint the pine trees and bushes with forest green, and the ice and snowy ground with ice blue, keeping the snow drifts, flag, skates and sparkly highlights white.
- 6Optional: add light shading with a slightly darker shade of each color to give the dress and castle some depth.
