Proud Rooster Standing With Big Tail Feathers

A rooster stands in profile facing left, with his chest puffed out and a slightly smug look in his eye. He has a ruffled comb on top of his head, a small pointed beak, and a rounded wattle hanging under his chin. The feathers on his chest and neck have jagged, zigzag edges, and the wing is drawn along his side with a pointed tip near the back. Behind him, a tall tail sweeps upward in big curling shapes. Two thin legs end in long, spread toes. The outlines are bold and the shapes are large, so it works well for kids who like to color inside the lines. Try red for the comb and wattle, then use a different color for each section of the tail feathers. Teachers can also use it to point out the parts of a rooster.
