Proud Smiling Boy Wearing a Ribbon Medal

A happy boy stands with his feet apart and both fists resting on his hips, grinning wide with his eyes bright and his head tilted slightly. He wears a short-sleeved t-shirt, shorts with pockets and cuffed hems, socks, and sneakers with laces. A ribbon medal with a scalloped round center and two tails hangs from his neck. Behind him are two puffy bushes, a few grass tufts, and a gently curved hill. The big open areas on his shirt and shorts are easy for small hands to fill in. This free page works well for talking about feeling proud. Ask kids to color the medal and pick the colors that match how they feel after finishing something hard, then share what they are proud of.
