Puddle-Splashing Rainbow Dash (MLP) in Rain Boots
Coloring guide
Rain or not, this happy little winged pony is leaping right into the fun, with rubber rain boots on all four hooves. She lands in a big puddle that sends water splashing in every direction, and a single cloud floats overhead with raindrops falling around her. Her long wavy mane and flowing tail are drawn with lots of curved stripes. She has big sparkly eyes, long lashes, fluffy ears and a wide smile, and her feathered wings are spread out behind her. Kids who love rainy days and puddle jumping will like this one. Yellow or red boots will stand out against a soft blue puddle, and the mane and tail can get rainbow stripes that follow each wavy line. Print this free page for classroom time or a rainy day. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the pony's body, face, and legs in lavender purple, leaving the little eye shines and the background between the legs white.
- 2Fill the wings with pale lavender, then color the ears and muzzle in the same lavender purple.
- 3Color the flowing mane and tail in a rainbow pattern: sky blue, light pink, golden yellow, and butter yellow in bands, with soft peach at the top of the mane.
- 4Add the rain boots in golden yellow, then give the boot tops a rose pink cuff.
- 5Finish the raindrops, puddle splashes, and puddle with sky blue, and tint the inner ear with light peach.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker lavender along the belly and under the legs to make the pony look rounded.
