Pumpkin Patch by a Wooden Fence on a Fall Day

Coloring guide
In the middle of this patch sits one big round pumpkin, with five more around it in different shapes and sizes. A tall, narrow gourd with a curved stem stands on the left, and a tiny pumpkin hides near the back. Curly vines, tendrils and plenty of lobed leaves fill the gaps between them, and grass tufts dot the ground. A wooden fence stretches across behind the patch, and rolling hills with a couple of bushy trees fade into the distance. Large shapes and clear ribbed lines are friendly for little kids, while older ones can take their time with the leaves and vines. Bright orange for the giant pumpkin, deep green for the vines and warm brown for the fence posts is a good start. It's a free printable. - 1Start with the big pumpkins, the small pumpkins and the squash in pumpkin orange, leaving the thin highlight lines along the edges and near the stems white.
- 2Color the fence posts and rails in tan brown, and use khaki for the fence rails on the left and right.
- 3Fill the hills and the grass patches with soft green and bright lime, keeping the sky area white.
- 4Color all the big leaves and the stems of the pumpkins in leaf green, and use dark green for the darker stem tops.
- 5Optional: Add a little extra shading to the pumpkin ribs with a slightly darker orange to give them a bit more depth.
