Puppy Cheerleader Spinning a Basketball

A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.

• pale gold
• golden tan
• royal blue
• orange
• light brown
• sky blue
• brown
• coral pink
• dark gray
• light blue
• slate blue

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Color the basketball orange, leaving the black lines as they are so the ball still looks like it is spinning on the finger.
2. 2Fill the puppy's fur, including the floppy ears, raised arm, face, legs and tail, with golden tan, keeping the eye shines and teeth white.
3. 3Color the sporty jersey and shorts royal blue, and fill the pom-poms with sky blue and royal blue strands.
4. 4Color the bench and its legs light brown, and make the water bottle sky blue.
5. 5Fill the wood floor and the background gaps with pale gold, leaving the court line and the background wall white.
6. 6Optional: add a few darker strokes of brown on the fur and light blue on the pom-pom edges for a little depth.
