Beach Day Puppy Digging Near a Sandcastle
Coloring guide
A floppy-eared puppy with a big smile and its tongue hanging out digs happily in the sand, kicking up little clumps and splashes behind it. The tail curls high in the air, and a small round tag hangs from its collar. Ocean waves roll in behind, and a sandcastle with towers, an arched doorway and a tiny flag stands on the shore. In the foreground are a bucket with a handle, a small shovel and a scallop shell resting in the sand. Sand texture, dots and splashes give kids lots of small spaces to fill in. Golden yellow and warm brown work for the puppy's fur, with soft blues and teals for the water and a red flag on the castle. Save it as a free PDF, no sign-up needed. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the ocean waves, the sea near the sandcastle and the strip on the far right with sky blue, leaving the thin wet sand strip along the shoreline white.
- 2Color the puppy's fur, head, back and tail with golden tan, keeping the eye shines white.
- 3Fill the bucket, its rim and handle with bright blue, then color the sandcastle towers pale yellow and its doorway caramel brown.
- 4Color the flag and shovel with bright red, and the shells with soft pink, then add the puppy's tongue in soft pink too.
- 5Add golden yellow to the sand bursts, bubbles and splashes around the puppy, and give the dog tag a lemon yellow shine.
- 6Optional: add a few touches of a slightly darker tan along the puppy's shadowed side to add depth.
