A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the race car body, nose, bumpers, front wing, headlights and seat backs bright red, leaving the car's inner details for later.
- 2Fill the driver's face and raised hand with peach skin, then color the helmet blush pink and the steering wheel and arm details light gray.
- 3Color the side barrier walls and low panels sky blue and ocean blue, the lower wall trim light tan, and the tall flagpole golden yellow.
- 4Fill both tires, the car's lower frame and the dark checkered floor squares charcoal gray, and color the smile coral pink, leaving the white squares and background white.
- 5Color the floor corners and car base shadow light gray and slate gray so the car sits on the track.
- 6Optional: Add light shading with a darker shade of each color along the tires and car edges for extra depth.
