Rainy City Street Godzilla Standing in a Puddle

This Godzilla looks friendly, with wide eyes and a grin full of teeth. He stands upright in the middle of a rainy city street while raindrops fall all around him. His feet are planted in a big puddle, and the rippling reflections show up in the water. His scaly, bumpy body has a smooth banded belly, a row of jagged back plates, a curled tail on the left and three-clawed hands hanging at his sides. Tall apartment buildings and a skyscraper with an antenna line both sides of the road, with street lamps and a few round trees mixed in. The big scale patterns leave lots of tiny spaces for kids to fill, and the belly and puddle are larger and easier. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big body, arms, and legs of the dinosaur in leaf green, leaving the eye highlights and the gap above the head white.
- 2Color the back spikes and the spiky fins along the back and tail in bright blue.
- 3Fill the chest collar and lower belly area with golden yellow to make the belly pop.
- 4Color the tall buildings on both sides in warm orange and the windows and tower sections in pale yellow, keeping the sky white.
- 5Add light blue to the puddles and medium gray to the street, then color the claws in cream white and the tail underside in deep green.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading along the belly edges and under the feet to give the dinosaur more depth.
