Rainy Day Kawaii Frog in a Rain Boot with Umbrella

A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.

• golden yellow
• lime green
• bright red
• pale cream
• sky blue
• light blue
• coral pink
• grass green

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Start with the big yellow areas: fill the rain boot body, its top rim and the umbrella's right panel with golden yellow.
2. 2Color the frog's head, body, arms, hand and paws with lime green, leaving the big eye whites and shiny highlights white.
3. 3Fill the umbrella's left panels and the mushroom cap with bright red, then color the boot's belt, buckle, side stripe and sole in the same red.
4. 4Add the grass in grass green, the mushroom stem in pale cream and the puddles in light blue, keeping the mushroom spots white.
5. 5Use sky blue for the raindrops and coral pink for the frog's cheeks.
6. 6Optional: add a few darker strokes of the same colors along one side of each shape to make it look more shaded.
