Rainy Day Puddle Splash with a Disney Cars Style Car
Coloring guide
A smiling little car with big round eyes and an open-mouth grin drives through a puddle, and water splashes up around its wheels. A fluffy cloud overhead sends down raindrops in different sizes. On the right, a tall street lamp has a small open umbrella hanging from its post. The car has a rounded body, a curved windshield with a steering wheel and seat visible inside, and a little side mirror. It isn't a recognizable Disney Cars character, just a friendly cartoon car. Bold, clear outlines and big open areas suit preschoolers and early elementary kids. Yellow or red would make a cheerful car, with soft blues and teals for the puddle splashes and raindrops. Print a few extra copies, since this one tends to get requested again. Fans of Disney Cars coloring pages often like Cars as well.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big sky and water areas: color the cloud, the raindrops, and the puddle splashes light blue, and color the tiny raindrop at the far left bright blue.
- 2Fill the car body, side panels, and side mirrors with bright red, keeping the eye whites and the small shine spots white.
- 3Color the windows and windshield light blue, then fill the umbrella and the lamp glass with golden yellow.
- 4Color the tires, the lamp post, the lamp top, and the steering wheel charcoal gray, and the wheel centers and front bumper light gray.
- 5Fill the smiling mouth with dark maroon, the tongue with pale pink, and the dashboard with medium gray.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading along the bottom of the car and the puddle edges to make the splashes look deeper.
