Out in a puddly backyard, Daniel raises one arm and points his finger at a huge rainbow arching across the sky. His mouth is open in a happy smile. He's wearing a buttoned hooded raincoat with two front pockets and tall rain boots, and his striped tail curls out behind him. Muddy puddles with reflections cover the ground, and there's a small house on the left with a round-topped door and a round window, a flower by the steps, a wooden picket fence, leafy bushes, and fluffy clouds near the rainbow. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big raincoat: color the coat, hood, collar, buttons and pockets in golden yellow, leaving the tiger's face and eye whites untouched.
- 2Fill the tiger's head, both ears, raised arm, hand and pointing finger in orange, then add chocolate brown stripes on the head, cheek and tail, and a pale pink spot on the cheek.
- 3Color the rain boots in tomato red and the pants in bright blue, then add the tail base and tail rings in orange and chocolate brown.
- 4Paint the rainbow bands in order: tomato red, orange, golden yellow, leaf green, bright blue and violet purple, leaving the sky white around it. Color the clouds in pale sky blue or light blue.
- 5Fill the house roof in tomato red, the door in chocolate brown, the walls and fence in cream, the steps in cool gray, and the bushes and grass in leaf green.
- 6Finish the puddles in light blue and sky blue with a few white highlight streaks. Optional: add a few darker blue lines at the edges of the puddles for depth.
