Rainy Day Unikitty Kitten Jumping in a Puddle with Polka Dot Umbrella

A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.

• tangerine orange
• golden yellow
• sky blue
• bubblegum pink
• pale blue
• cream
• violet purple
• cherry red
• bright blue
• leaf green
• soft pink

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Start with the cat's body, head, ears and raised arm in tangerine orange, leaving the eye highlights white.
2. 2Color the umbrella: bubblegum pink on the left panels, golden yellow in the middle, and sky blue on the right, leaving the white polka dots uncolored.
3. 3Fill the rubber boots with golden yellow, keep the white dots, and color the boot tops cream.
4. 4Color the rainbow bands from outside to inside: cherry red, golden yellow, leaf green, and violet purple, then fill both clouds with pale blue.
5. 5Add the cat's cream tail, soft pink inner ears and tongue, and violet purple umbrella handle.
6. 6Finish the raindrops, puddle splashes and puddle edge in sky blue and bright blue. Optional: add a few darker strokes on the orange body for depth.
