Relaxed Godzilla Leaning on a Rocky Cliff
Coloring guide
Leaning back against a tall rocky cliff, this big, friendly Godzilla-style monster looks totally at ease, with half-closed eyes and a small toothy smile. He stands on two thick legs, clawed hands in front of his round belly, which has wide horizontal stripes. Scale details dot his arms, legs and chest, and spiky plates run down his back and tail. Two puffy clouds, distant mountains, leafy bushes, and a few small rocks and cracks near the cliff fill in behind him. Bold, clean outlines make this free printable easy for kids to color. Soft greens and teals work for his body, pale yellow for the belly stripes, and warm grays and browns for the rocks so he stands out. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by coloring Godzilla's whole body, arms, legs and tail in leaf green, leaving the teeth and eye whites untouched.
- 2Fill the belly plates and lower belly stripes with soft yellow so they stand out against the green.
- 3Color the cliff, rocks and mountains in cool gray, keeping the rock base and nearby stones in the same tone.
- 4Paint the big cloud and small cloud in pale blue, and the distant mountain behind Godzilla in medium blue.
- 5Add the spikes along the head, neck, back and tail in golden yellow, then color the foot and hand claws in cream.
- 6Optional: finish with deep teal for the grass at the bottom left and the bushes, and leave the sky and ground highlights white for a bright look.
