Riding a Leaping Dolphin Under a Rainbow, Rainbow Rangers Ocean Page
Coloring guide
Out of the ocean leaps a happy dolphin with a smiling girl on its back. She has a short bob haircut and a flowing cape that streams behind her as she holds on. Her outfit is a tunic with a round pendant at the collar, a belt, a short skirt, and boots. Droplets splash and waves roll around the dolphin's tail below. Up above, three seagulls glide past two puffy clouds, and a big rainbow arcs behind the pair. The shapes are large and clear for younger kids, with a few small details for older ones, and it's a free printable. A purple or red cape will stand out nicely against a sky-blue background and a classic multicolored rainbow. Fans of Rainbow Rangers coloring pages often like Nyan Cat and Disney Tsum Tsum as well.
A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- ocean blue
- pale blue
- bright red
- soft pink
- peach skin
- lavender purple
- golden yellow
- grass green
- light sky blue
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the dolphin's body, its fins, and its tail in ocean blue, then fill the water splashes and right-side waves with the same blue.
- 2Fill the rainbow with grass green on the outer arc, ocean blue in the middle arc, and lavender purple on the inner arc.
- 3Color both clouds in pale blue and the flowing cape in bright red, leaving the cape's collar area for last.
- 4Color the girl's hair in golden yellow, then her face, neck, and legs in peach skin, keeping the dolphin's eye white and the small highlight on her dress white.
- 5Fill the girl's top, sleeves, and boots in soft pink, the skirt and belt in lavender purple, and the small bottom waves in light sky blue.
- 6Optional: add a few soft lines of darker shading on the dolphin's belly and the cape to give the drawing more depth. Leave the birds white with black outlines.
