Roaring Lion on a Rocky Cliff Under a Full Moon: The Lion King

This grown lion has a full, shaggy mane and stands at the edge of a rocky ledge, head tipped back, mouth wide open in a big roar. He reminds us a lot of Simba from The Lion King. His front paws rest on the stone and his tail curls behind him. A large round moon sits in the upper left corner, and leafy branches with spiky, jagged edges frame the scene behind him. Cracked rock shapes along the bottom add lots of texture to fill in. The mane, the leaves and that big empty moon are all handy spots to practice coloring different areas. Golden tan suits the body, deep orange-brown the mane, and a soft pale yellow the moon, which will glow against a dark blue night sky. Print or download it for a quick coloring break any time.
