Rock Star Guitar Girl Power on Stage
Coloring guide
Legs planted wide on a small round stage, a smiling girl plays an electric guitar, her high ponytail held up with a star hair clip. Her outfit is full of stars: a short-sleeved vest over a star-print T-shirt, rolled-cuff jeans, star earrings, a star wristband and high-top sneakers with star patches. A microphone on a tall stand stands behind her, a cable snakes from the guitar across the stage floor, and a speaker with two round cones sits at the left edge. Stars of different sizes fill the background. Adding detail to the guitar's knobs, strings and strap is a treat. Sparkly purple or turquoise on the star shirt and sneakers will pop against a red or orange guitar. A free printable for young music fans, rainy afternoons or music lessons. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the large purple stage floor and the speaker cabinet in charcoal gray, leaving the background wall white.
- 2Color the guitar body bright red, leaving the pickguard and the neck highlights white, and add the warm amber guitar neck.
- 3Fill the girl's skin in light peach, including the face, arms, hands, and ears, then add the rose pink open mouth and leave the teeth white.
- 4Color the hair in chocolate brown with dark brown strands, then add the golden yellow stars on the hair and shirt.
- 5Fill the jeans in sky blue and the vest in sky blue, using pale blue for the jeans cuffs, and keep the t-shirt white.
- 6Finish the hot pink sneakers, leave the laces and soles white, and color the microphone stand in steel gray. Optional: Add a few darker charcoal gray shadows under the sneakers and along the speaker edges.
