Rocket Ship Ride Through Space, Baby Yoda (Star Wars)

Peeking out of a rocket ship's round porthole, a smiling little alien with two antennae rests both hands on the window ledge as the ship zooms through space. The rocket has a small ball-topped antenna, a round hatch window near the bottom, side fins dotted with tiny lights and a swooshing flame trail. Around it you'll see a ringed planet in the upper left, a cheerful comet with a happy face and streaky tail in the upper right, a striped planet and a cratered moon at the bottom, and lots of stars and small dots across the page. Space fans will enjoy this one. Red for the rocket, orange and yellow for the flame and soft lime green for the alien is one way to go. The large open areas are easy for small hands. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big rocket body in red, including the top, sides and both wings, and leave the round porthole window for later.
- 2Fill the porthole interior and the stripes on the wings with royal blue, then color the thick ring around the window in golden yellow.
- 3Color the alien's head and hands lime green, keep the big eyes white, and fill the shirt at the bottom of the window with sky blue.
- 4Add the lemon yellow rocket flame, the stars, the comet and the ring around the orange planet in bright yellow tones.
- 5Color the saturn planet in orange and amber stripes, the purple planets in violet purple, and the moon in slate blue with lavender gray craters.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading on one side of the rocket and planets to make them look rounder.
