Rooster Chicken Crowing at Sunrise on a Fence Post

Coloring guide
Here's a proud rooster perched on a wooden fence post, beak wide open, crowing while the sun comes up behind him. Short lines burst out near his beak to show the sound. A half-circle sun with rays fills the space behind the post, small clouds drift in the sky, and a rail fence with a few grassy bushes runs along the bottom. He has a scalloped comb, a wattle, a big round eye, layered wing feathers and a tall, curving tail made of long feather shapes. The sun and the wing are big open areas, so little hands can color them without trouble. Red and orange look great on the comb and tail, golden yellow suits the sunrise, and warm browns work for the post. Print or download it free for classroom time or a rainy day. Looking for more? - 4Add the tail feathers in royal blue, teal, leaf green and olive gray, then color the comb and wattle in bright red.
