Rooster Crowing With Head Tilted Back

Rooster Crowing With Head Tilted Back coloring page

Coloring guide

A tall rooster stands on one leg with its other foot lifted and curled up near its belly. Its head is tipped back and its beak is open mid crow. You can see one round eye, a jagged comb on top of the head, a small wattle under the beak, and a ruffled patch of feathers at the chest. The wing is drawn as a large rounded shape with a wavy edge, and the long tail feathers sweep up and out to the right in several curved layers. Thin lines of feathers hang near the back of the legs. The one foot on the ground shows long, spread toes. Try red and orange for the comb and wattle, then let kids pick a different color for each tail feather. It is also a nice printable for talking about how roosters crow in the morning.
