Round Cottage and Tulip Row, Color by Number (Adult)
Coloring guide
A little cottage with round walls and a big scalloped, thatched-style roof fills the middle of the page, with a brick chimney on the right. The arched front door has vertical wood planks and a small knob, and it stands above a stepped doorstep. Two arched windows with cross-shaped panes and tiny sills sit on either side of the door, and short sections of picket fence stand at each side of the house. Three tulips with leafy stems grow in a row along the bottom, with small tufts of grass scattered around them. The shapes are bold and clear, so this free printable suits patient beginners and older kids who like tidy details. Try warm brown on the door, soft grey and red on the chimney bricks, and bright pink, yellow and red on the tulips. This fits right in with our Color by Number (Adult) coloring pages — see also Friendship and Love.

- 3Color the chimney top and the front doorstep with cream beige, then fill the chimney bricks with burnt orange.
- 4Color the door panels with wood brown and fill the window panes with sky blue, leaving the window sills, door frame and fences white.
- 5Color the three tulip stems and leaves with leaf green, and fill the right tulip flower with violet purple.
- 6Optional: Add a little shading on the roof and walls with a slightly darker shade of each color for a softer look.
