Round Web Spider With a Big Happy Grin

Coloring guide
Right in the middle of a round spiderweb sits a cheerful spider with big round eyes, sparkly pupils and an open smile. Its rounded head sits below a striped, segmented body, and eight thick, bendy legs reach out, four to each side. Straight lines cross the web from the center and curved rings circle the whole page, so there are plenty of small spaces to fill. Bold, clean outlines make it a good free printable for preschoolers and early elementary kids still working on crayon control. Soft purple or orange would look nice on the body and legs, with light gray or blue for the web so the spider pops. A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- light blue
- bright blue
- soft purple
- medium blue
- coral pink
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the web: fill the outer rings and the top and bottom sections in bright blue, leaving the thin spider lines uncolored.
- 2Fill the alternating web rings and sections in light blue so they contrast with the bright blue areas.
- 3Color the spider's round body, all eight legs, and the leg joints in soft purple, keeping the eyes for later.
- 4Fill the open mouth with coral pink and the small leg joints near the body with medium blue.
- 5Leave the big round eye whites and the grin's teeth white, then add black pupils and outlines to finish the face.
- 6Optional: add a few light strokes of a darker shade of soft purple on the lower legs and body for a little depth.
