Safari Explorers Oddbods Peek Through Jungle Leaves
Coloring guide
Two round-faced little explorers in safari pith helmets peer out from behind a big monstera leaf. The one in front holds up a magnifying glass, and the one behind raises a butterfly net beside them. Both have wide eyes and happy smiles. In the distance a waterfall tumbles into a pool, and a parrot sits on a branch in the top right corner. A butterfly flutters near the upper left, and vines hang among lots of leaves. Large hibiscus flowers and small blossoms fill the bottom corners and the left edge. Older kids will find plenty to do in the detailed foliage, while the big helmets and leaves are easy for younger ones. Try red or orange for the parrot and the hibiscus blooms, and several shades of green so the layered leaves stand apart. Download and print it free for a fun afternoon. Kids who like Oddbods coloring pages usually enjoy Big Hero 6 and PJ Masks too.

- sand tan
- grass green
- olive green

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the sky and waterfall: color the sky above the jungle light sky blue, and the pool at the bottom of the waterfall ocean blue, leaving the foam white.
- 2Fill the two explorers' faces and hands with peach skin, then color their hat tops and brims sand tan with chocolate brown bands.
- 3Color the big leaves and jungle foliage in jungle green and lime green, mixing the two greens so the leaves look natural.
- 4Paint the hibiscus flowers coral red and the parrot's tail and body in coral red and olive green, then add golden yellow to the parrot's wing.
- 5Add the magnifying glass lens in light sky blue and its handle in slate gray, and color the explorers' shirts tan brown.
- 6Optional: Leave the eye whites and the waterfall foam white, and add a few light gray spots on the parrot's beak to make the details pop.
