Sandcastle Day at the Beach with Doraemon
Coloring guide
Down on the sand, a smiling kitten in a round space-style helmet and pointy ears kneels and digs with a small shovel next to a tall sandcastle. The castle has three towers, arched windows, a big front door and a little flag on top. Behind the kitten, a striped tail curls up and finishes with a star. Scattered nearby you'll spot a bucket, a beach ball, a striped umbrella, a seashell and a starfish. Waves roll in at the back, and a sun with rays shines from the corner. Big shapes on the suit and castle suit younger kids, while the dotted sand and wave lines give older ones more to work on. Sunny yellow fits the sun, and a red and white pattern makes a nice beach ball. Print it free for an easy afternoon activity. Looking for more? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the sea along the top and sides in sky blue, then color the bucket rim in sky blue and its handle in navy blue.
- 2Fill the beach sand across the bottom and around the castle with sand beige, leaving the sea edges neat.
- 3Color the cat's head, ears, body and arms in light orange, then add burnt orange stripes on the tail and head.
- 4Paint the sandcastle roofs, flag, shovel and beach ball in bright red, and the sun, star and umbrella panels in bright yellow.
- 5Add soft purple to the shells, soft pink to the starfish and inner ears, and keep the eye shine, umbrella shade and ball stripe white.
- 6Optional: add a little darker orange under the cat's chin and tail for a soft shadow.
