Santa's Sleigh on a Gingerbread House Roof with Reindeer
Coloring guide
Santa Claus sits in his decorated sleigh on a snowy gingerbread roof, with a big sack of wrapped presents piled up behind him. Two smiling reindeer in jingle bell collars stand on a brick chimney, holding the reins, ready to pull. Down below, the house is full of things to color. There's a heart-trimmed attic window with a bow, round candy trim, peppermint swirls, candy cane pillars, a wreath on the arched door and two windows with scalloped frames. Lollipops line the path and snow-topped bushes sit nearby, while pine trees, mountains and a small distant house fill the background as snowflakes fall. Red and white stripes suit the candy canes, brown works for the gingerbread walls, and Santa gets a bright red suit. Print or download it free for a fun afternoon activity. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big gingerbread house walls and roof in gingerbread brown, leaving the snow on the roof and eaves white.
- 2Color the sky blue window panes and the distant mountains and cabin, then fill the tall trees and bushes in forest green.
- 3Paint Santa's red suit and the sleigh side in bright red, the gift sack in golden yellow, and the reindeer faces and bodies in light tan and gingerbread brown.
- 4Add the brick red chimney, the gray front steps and stone path, and the green lollipops near the bushes.
- 5Finish with the small details: the candy pillars, the wreath, and the hearts on the walls. Keep Santa's beard, the snow, and the reindeer highlights white. Optional: add a little darker brown along one side of the roof for depth.
