Science Lab Experiment with an Oddbods Scientist

A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.

• golden yellow
• pale blue
• ice blue
• coral red
• sky blue
• tangerine orange
• wood brown
• violet purple
• royal blue
• grass green
• medium gray
• light gray

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Start by coloring the fluffy chick body and head with golden yellow, leaving the eye whites and the lab coat white.
2. 2Fill the glasses frames, cabinet, and the beakers' bottom liquid with pale blue or sky blue, keeping the glass lenses white.
3. 3Color the books with coral red on top, grass green on the bottom, and cream yellow on the pages.
4. 4Paint the held flask with violet purple, the round flask with tangerine orange, and the shelf with wood brown.
5. 5Add ice blue to the jars, beakers, and test tubes, then use charcoal gray for the microscope top.
6. 6Optional: Add a few soft blue bubbles and a little shading on the chick for extra depth.
