Scowling Wizard Aiming a Wand at You

A man with slicked-back hair stands turned slightly to the side and stretches one arm toward the viewer. His fist grips a long, straight wand that points upward near his face. His eyebrows are pulled down, his mouth is set in a frown, and he looks stern. He wears a long robe with flowing fold lines down the sleeve and body, and these long open shapes are easy to color. The large sleeve and robe areas work well for markers or crayons. Try dark greens, blues, or charcoal for the robe, then use a lighter shade on the wand so it stands out. It is a good page for talking about facial expressions, since kids can describe how the character looks and why. The printable page suits older kids who like a little detail.
