Seesaw Fun Friendship Page for Two Laughing Kids

A boy and a ponytailed girl sit on opposite ends of a seesaw, both gripping the handle in front of them and laughing as they go up and down. Short-sleeved tops, shorts and sneakers on each child leave nice big areas for coloring. Behind them is a playground with a tall slide, a swing set with four swings and a few rounded bushes along the horizon. A sun with pointed rays shines at the top of the page, and grass tufts dot the ground. Red and blue shirts would look cheerful, with yellow for the sun and green for the grass. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the big grass area and the small grass tufts with lime green, leaving the sky and background trees for later.
- 2Color the seesaw base and its middle plank golden yellow, the seesaw ends bright red, and the sun golden yellow with its rays left white.
- 3Paint the boy's hair chestnut brown, his shirt light blue, and his shorts navy blue, then add the boy's shoes sky blue.
- 4Color the girl's hair and ponytail golden yellow, her shirt coral pink, her shorts lavender purple, and the slide golden yellow.
- 5Fill the bushes, the ladder platform and steps grass green, and add peach skin to the faces, arms, hands and legs, keeping eye whites, socks, swing bars and ladder rungs white.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading on the hair and grass to give the page more depth.
