- 1Color the tree leaves and grass tufts light green, and add forest green to the tree on the right for depth.
- 2Fill the picnic cloth with coral red and pale pink squares, alternating them like a checkerboard.
- 3Color the left boy's shirt bright sky blue, the right boy's shirt golden yellow, the girl's top rose pink, and her overalls and jeans royal blue.
- 4Fill the faces and arms with peach skin for the girl and left boy, and golden tan for the right boy; leave the shoes and the tree trunk highlight white.
- 5Color the hair caramel brown for the left boy, dark chocolate brown for the right boy, and rust brown for the girl.
- 6Optional: fill the lemonade with lemon yellow, the apples with bright red, the sandwiches with cream yellow, the box with light blue, and the pitcher with pale blue.
