Shinobu Kocho Resting Cheek on Hand, Demon Slayer
Coloring guide
With her head tilted and one hand against her cheek, a young woman with short, swept-back hair smiles softly, eyes gently closed. The big butterfly hair ornament on top of her head tells you this line-art portrait looks like Shinobu Kocho from Demon Slayer. She's drawn from the chest up in a high-collared top under a patterned jacket with angular, geometric panels and a round button at the collar. The page has no background, so it stays clean and simple. Kids and teens who enjoy fine detail can practice shading individual hair strands and the cells in the butterfly wings. Soft purple fading to pink at the hair tips and bright violet on the wings would look lovely. It's a free printable for coloring fans of all ages. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the skin: color the face, neck and hand in soft peach, leaving the eye whites and the teeth white.
- 2Fill the hair with butter yellow, then add warm honey on the earrings, hair tie and hair band for a golden accent.
- 3Color the jacket panels in mint green, using coral pink for the lower pink folds and light gray for the middle fold, and keep the front and collar areas white.
- 4Paint the butterfly wings in lavender, soft purple and mint green, and use deep purple for the top wing edge and the tail ribbon.
- 5Use dark slate for the high collar and the cuff, and deep purple for the eye irises.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shade of each color along the edges of the hair and jacket folds to make the drawing look more dimensional.
