Shooting Star Merry Christmas Greeting With Snowflakes

A big shooting star with three nested outlines streaks across the top of the page, trailing a long curved tail that splits into pointed, zigzag ends. Below it, the words MERRY CHRISTMAS are written in chunky bubble letters with a shadow edge, and the lines sit at a slight upward angle. Small stars of different sizes are scattered around the lettering and along the tail, and two tiny detailed snowflakes sit near the left side of the words and under the comet's tail. The nested star shape is a nice chance to practice coloring in layers, so try three colors that step from the center out, like yellow, orange, and red. The bubble letters are roomy enough for kids to fill in with patterns, and the page is free to print for holiday cards or classroom decorations.
