Simba and Nala Riding Running Ostriches

Two lion cubs hold on as a pair of ostriches sprint across the page. The ostriches overlap, with one long neck stretching high at the top and the other head leaning out to the right, both with open beaks. One cub with a small tuft of hair sits in the middle of the back, smiling, and looks like young Simba. The other cub perches farther back near the big fanned wing and looks like Nala. The ostriches have spread wing feathers, a spiky tail on the left, and long legs mid-stride with big toed feet. The large feather shapes are fun to color with markers. Try a different color pattern in each wing, then use a printable copy to talk about how fast ostriches can run.
