Simple Flamingo Standing on One Leg Outline

Simple Flamingo Standing on One Leg Outline coloring page

Coloring guide

A single flamingo stands in profile on one long, thin leg, with the other leg bent and tucked up beneath its body. Its neck makes a tall S-curve up to a small round head with a dot for an eye. The beak bends sharply downward and has a little curved line near the mouth that looks like a smile. A few jagged lines mark the wing on the side of the body, and the tail points down and to the left. The outlines are bold and clean, with lots of open space inside, so younger kids can color without much trouble. Try pink and orange on the body and neck, then switch to a darker shade on the beak tip. Crayons will cover the large areas quickly. You can also talk with kids about why flamingos balance on one leg while they rest. The page is free to print for home or classroom use.
