Butterfly Visits a Sitting Panda Cub
Coloring guide
Sparkly-eyed and round-faced, this baby panda sits in the grass and gazes sideways at a little butterfly resting right near its eye patch. The cub has fluffy tufts on its head, two round ears, a tiny smiling nose and chubby paws in front. Its feet turn outward to show the toe beans underneath. Daisy-style flowers with leaves bloom on both sides, and short blades of grass cover the ground around the bear. Large shapes and bold, clean outlines keep it easy for preschoolers and early elementary kids, while the butterfly wings and flower petals give some small spaces for detail. Soft purple and pink wings stand out against the black-and-white panda, and bright yellow and orange suit the flowers. No sign-up needed to print this one. Love this Panda coloring page? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big brown areas: color the bear's head, body, legs and ears with caramel brown, leaving the eye whites and background white.
- 2Fill the inner parts of the ears and the round pads on both feet with soft pink.
- 3Color the flower petals with golden yellow and the flower centers with orange.
- 4Paint the leaves and grass blades with leaf green, and the top wing of the butterfly with sky blue.
- 5Add the rest of the butterfly wings with soft pink and golden yellow dots, then color the toe beans on the feet with caramel brown.
- 6Optional: add a few light strokes of darker brown along the bear's fur edges for a soft, fluffy look.
