Sleepy Baby Chick Tucked Under a Star Blanket

This little chick is fast asleep, with closed lashed eyes, a tuft of feathers on top and one small wing resting by its beak. It's curled up in a nest of messy straw and covered by a blanket full of hearts and stars. The scalloped edge of the blanket makes a handy border to color. On the wall above hangs a round clock on a small triangle hanger, with a crescent moon and four little stars on its face to say it's bedtime. All those long, pointy straw strokes are good practice for careful pencil or crayon work. Soft yellow suits the chick, pastel purple and pink work for the blanket, and deep navy would look great on the clock. Print it at home whenever you want a quick coloring break.
