Sleepy Giraffe in a Polka Dot Nightcap
Coloring guide
Curled up on the ground with its head resting on its folded body, this sleepy baby giraffe has closed eyes, long lashes, and a little smile. A floppy nightcap with big polka dots and a fluffy pom-pom sits right between its two knobby horns. Patches of different shapes cover the coat, giving lots of small spots to fill in. Overhead, a big crescent moon and three stars of different sizes light up the night sky, and a few grass tufts sit beside the giraffe. It's a free printable for bedtime themes or a quiet afternoon. Soft purples or blues for the nightcap, warm yellow for the moon and stars, and golden tan with brown patches on the giraffe would look lovely. Love this Giraffe coloring page? - 2Color the muzzle with cream, and fill the inside of the ear with baby pink.
- 3Color the nightcap top with sky blue and the band under it with pale blue, leaving the white polka dots and the fluffy pompom white.
- 4Color the three stars and the top stars with golden yellow, and the horns and horn tuft with chocolate brown.
- 5Fill the orange spots across the head, neck, back, and legs with caramel orange, and color the tail tip and back hoof chocolate brown.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading under the body and the nightcap folds to give the drawing more depth.
