Coloring guide
A round, grinning anglerfish takes up most of this page. It has wide eyes, a mouth full of pointy teeth, and a long curved stalk with a glowing round lure on the end. Short lines around the lure make it look like a little sun. Spotted cheeks, a ruffled back fin, and striped tail and side fins give you plenty to fill in. At the bottom right, a child looks out from the round window of a small submarine that has a periscope and a spinning propeller. Four small fish swim around, bubbles float up the page, and wavy seaweed and rocks line the sea floor. It's a free printable for kids who like big shapes and small details. Yellow works well for the glowing lure, and purple or teal for the body will make the fin stripes show. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the big round anglerfish body with orange, leaving the eye whites and teeth white.
- 2Color the tail, side fins, and the fan-shaped top fin with sky blue, adding the thin stripes inside the fins.
- 3Paint the glowing lamp on the antenna lemon yellow, and color the small spots on the fish body lemon yellow too.
- 4Color the submarine's main hull golden yellow, then fill its top, tail fins, and propeller area with bright red.
- 5Add the seaweed in leaf green, the bubbles in aqua and pale blue, the small fish in purple, bright red, and sky blue, and the sand at the bottom in pale gold.
- 6Finish the open mouth with coral pink and the window of the submarine with pale blue. Optional: add a slightly darker orange along the lower edge of the fish body for depth.
