Happy Baby Bat Spreading Its Wings Among Four Stars

Coloring guide
In the middle of this page, a cheerful little bat opens its wings wide. It has big round eyes, a tiny pig-like nose, and a happy open mouth with one small fang. The oversized pointed ears have simple inner lines, a tuft of hair curls on top of the head, and a fluffy chest patch sits above the round belly. Two tiny feet dangle at the bottom. One outlined star floats in each corner, and that's all the scenery, so there's nothing else to fill in. Thick, clean outlines and roomy wing spaces make it a good match for chunky crayons. Soft purple or warm gray works nicely for the wings and ears, and yellow stars help the bat stand out. Print it for Halloween week or a calm afternoon at home or in class. Add this to your Bat coloring page collection, alongside Ghost and Candy.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the bat's head, body, and arms in soft purple, leaving the big eye whites bright white.
- 2Fill the two large ears with baby pink so they look soft and cozy.
- 3Color the four wing panels in sky blue, working one panel at a time and leaving the wing edges clean.
- 4Add the fluffy chest in pale lavender, then give the nose baby pink and the open smile coral pink.
- 5Color the four stars golden yellow, and keep the small shine spots in the eyes white.
- 6Optional: add a few light back-and-forth strokes on the wings and body to give them a textured look.
