Baby Hedgehog Peeking Out of Fall Leaves
Coloring guide
This sweet little hedgehog pokes its head out from under a big heap of leaves. It has sparkly round eyes, a cheerful open smile and two small paws resting up front, with spiky fur around the face and round ears on top. Large veined leaves cover it like a cozy blanket, and a few more lie on the ground below. Small hands will find the wide, open shapes easy, and older kids can spend time on the spiky fur and the leaf veins. Warm browns and tans suit the spines, and you can mix reds, oranges and golden yellows over the leaves. Print it free for a rainy afternoon, a classroom craft table or some quiet time at home. Add this to your Fall coloring page collection, alongside Halloween and Gingerbread House.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the hedgehog's face, paws and belly with light cream, leaving the two eye shines and the background white.
- 2Color the spiky body, back and sides of the hedgehog with chocolate brown, then paint the inner ear and small tongue soft pink.
- 3Color the large front leaf and the leaves tucked around the top left and lower left with lime green and leaf green.
- 4Fill the top, middle and lower right leaves with tangerine orange, then use brick red for the top right, right, lower left and bottom leaves.
- 5Color the golden yellow leaves on the upper right, right and left sides, plus the small yellow leaves at the bottom, and finish with the small green leaves in the corners.
- 6Optional: Add a darker shade of each leaf along one side to make them look more layered and dimensional.
