Wooden Train Fun for a Playful Baby
Coloring guide
On the floor sits a happy baby with tufty hair, reaching out to push a small wooden toy train along its track. The engine has a tiny window and chimney, followed by a car with a square block and another carrying a triangle block, all riding on round wheels. The baby has big round eyes and a wide smile, and wears a long-sleeved top with overalls and chunky socks. A curvy track with puzzle-style joints loops around the scene, and two rounded toy trees on little bases stand nearby, one on each side. Large shapes and clear outlines keep this free printable easy for small hands. Blue overalls and a red engine look good, then give each train car its own color so the wooden blocks stand out. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the baby's face, neck, and hands in peach, leaving the small eye shines white.
- 2Color the hair in warm brown and the long sleeves in bright yellow, keeping the overalls area ready for blue.
- 3Fill the overalls, pants, and straps in royal blue, then add the bright yellow cuffs and the small mouth in soft pink.
- 4Color the wooden track and the trees in light tan and leaf green, and fill the train cars with tomato red, orange, and blue, with bright yellow wheels.
- 5Finish with the engine window in light blue and the train base in dusty brown. Optional: Add a little gray shading under the train and the wheels for depth, and leave the background white.
