A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the big backpack body sky blue and fill the front pocket with bright green, leaving the handle opening white.
- 2Color both top straps and the outer shoulder straps bright red, then add brick red to the inner strap edges.
- 3Color the side pockets, the top edge, the handle, the front zipper bar and the pencil body golden yellow, keeping the eye whites white.
- 4Color the desk top and the front panel caramel orange, then fill the table legs light gray and the feet charcoal gray.
- 5Color the pencil tip pale peach, the pencil eraser end and the eraser in bubblegum pink, and the zipper pull light gray.
- 6Optional: Add light diagonal strokes in a slightly darker shade of each color to give the pages a hand-drawn, textured look.
