Bees Buzzing Around a Straw Skep Hive

Coloring guide
Four cheerful bees fly around a big straw skep beehive in this garden scene. Each has a smiling face, little antennae and a striped body, and dotted flight trails curl behind some of them. A fifth bee peeks out of the arched doorway at the bottom of the hive. The hive sits on a sturdy wooden stand with small bolts on the frame, and it has rounded woven layers and a tied bundle on top. A picket fence with leafy bushes stands behind it, and daisy-style flowers, leaves and grass tufts fill the front. Wide, open shapes are easy for little hands, and the straw rows and fence boards give older kids more to do. Golden yellow for the hive and warm brown for the stand would look nice, with pink and purple flowers. Keep it handy for classroom time or a rainy day. Add this to your Bee coloring page collection, alongside Frog and Raccoon.

- 3Fill the bushes, grass, leaves and plant stems with grass green, emerald green and a touch of lime green.
- 4Color the small bees' bodies and heads golden yellow, and keep their wings white.
- 5Paint the flower centers golden yellow, and color the purple-centered daisy on the lower right with lavender purple.
- 6Optional: add a slightly darker shade along the bottom rows of the hive; keep the fence pickets, bee wings and daisy petals white.
