Grinning Boy Lining Up a Golf Putt
Coloring guide
A boy with tousled hair leans over a golf ball and holds his club with both hands, getting ready to putt. His wide-eyed grin says he's having a great time. He's dressed in a collared polo shirt with a small button placket, loose shorts, ankle socks and chunky sneakers. Behind him a pennant flag stands in the hole on a gently rolling green, with a couple of rounded bushes on the horizon and little tufts of grass around his feet. The big, clean outlines and open shapes are comfortable for preschoolers and early elementary kids who are still working on pencil control. Orange for the polo and sky blue for the shorts would look fun, and two shades of green will help the hill stand out. - 3Color the shorts khaki tan and leave the small highlight lines along the hem white or lightly outlined.
- 4Color the hair chocolate brown, the flag bright red, and the club head and shaft light gray.
- 5Fill the bushes and background bush with forest green, the grass tufts and the grass patch by the club with light green, and the open mouth coral pink.
- 6Optional: add a little darker brown along the hair edges and a touch of bright blue shading under the shorts for depth.
