Boy on a Bike Park Pond Activity Sheets
Coloring guide
Along a curving park path, a happy boy in a helmet pedals his bicycle, and his big grin gives the page a lively feel. He's dressed in a short-sleeved t-shirt, shorts, socks and sneakers. Two ducks float on a pond with little ripples beside the path, and cattails grow at the water's edge. On the left, a wooden bench sits under leafy trees, and bushes, tufts of grass and small flowers are scattered around the path. The bike's detailed spokes and chunky tires give older kids something to work on, while the large open shapes suit younger ones. A bright red or blue helmet will stand out against green trees and grass. This free printable works for a bike safety lesson, a rainy day or a quiet moment at home. Looking for more? - 2Fill the grass and bushes with leaf green and lime green, and color the tree foliage on both sides of the park with leaf green.
- 3Color the boy's red shirt and bright red sleeves, then fill the shorts with royal blue and the sneakers and helmet with bright blue.
- 4Use peach skin for the face, arms, and legs, leaving the sock white. Color the hair dark brown and the helmet strap royal blue.
- 5Color the bike frame with bright blue, the fork and rims with silver gray, and the tires with charcoal gray. Use peach skin for the spokes.
- 6Optional: Add a little golden yellow to the ducks and keep the sky background white for a bright, airy finish.
