Firefighter Kids and Fire Truck Activity Sheets
Coloring guide
Side by side in front of a big fire truck, two smiling kids in firefighter gear look ready for a day on the job. Both have rounded helmets and buckled jackets with reflective stripes. The girl on the right wears a ponytail and carries a coiled hose over her shoulder, and the boy on the left rests a hand on his hip. The truck behind them has a long ladder on top, a small light on the cab, a side panel with horizontal lines and round details on the body. Farther back you'll find a little house with a chimney, a window and a door, along with a tree and a bush. Bright red on the truck and helmets, plus yellow stripes on the jackets, makes everything pop. Plenty of big open spaces in this free printable suit young colorers who like bold, simple shapes. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big red areas: color the fire truck body, the pants and jackets of both firefighters, and the girl's and boy's uniforms in bright red.
- 2Fill the house walls and the bush with cream and leaf green, then color the tree foliage and the grass behind the truck in leaf green.
- 3Color the truck windows and the house door: use light blue for the windows and warm brown for the door, leaving the ladder highlights white.
- 4Add the yellow helmets, jacket stripes, and the gloves in lemon yellow, and use golden yellow for the pants stripes and the bumper details.
- 5Color the firefighters' skin in peach, their hair in chocolate brown or charcoal gray, and the tires and bumper in mid gray and light gray.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading on the tires and the edges of the red uniforms to make the drawing pop.
