Heart-Winged Butterfly on a Daisy, Adult Coloring
Coloring guide
Perched on the center of a large daisy, this butterfly has big sparkly eyes, a happy smile, wide-open wings and curly antennae swirling above its head. Each wing is full of things to color: hearts, spirals, and rows of small dots and circles along the edges. Below, the daisy has rounded petals, a dotted center, a long stem and two big leaves, and little five-petal flowers and leafy sprigs are scattered around the border on both sides. With open areas next to finer patterns, this free printable suits older kids, teens or grown-ups who like relaxed detail work. Bright pink hearts, purple and turquoise spirals, and soft yellow daisy petals make a nice contrast. Kids who like Adult Coloring coloring pages usually enjoy Love and Color by Number (Adult) too.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the flower: color the big daisy petals in hot pink and the two large leaves plus the small side leaves in leaf green, keeping the outlines dark.
- 2Fill the round flower center with lemon yellow, and leave the little dots inside it white.
- 3Color the butterfly's wings: use sky blue for the large scroll sections and the long bands, amber orange for the middle bands, and hot pink for the outer edges and dots.
- 4Fill the two hearts on the wings in hot pink, and color the outer scalloped edges in light pink, coral rose or peach as you like.
- 5Color the head and the body segments in lemon yellow, the thorax in violet purple, and the lower body segments in dusty rose.
- 6Finish with the small blue flowers in sky blue around the page, keep the eye whites and the small highlight dots white, and add a little shading on the petals if you want. Optional: add a darker edge of the same color on the petals for extra depth.
